Funds and coordinates health care services throughout the Wairarapa through seven general practices. Some counselling is available free with the Mental Health Nurse.
Family Works offers a range of counselling support for children/tamariki, young people/rangatahi and families and whanau who are facing complex challenges.
I offer comprehensive clinical psychology services to children, adolescents and adults across a range of problems including anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma, family relationships, and common childhood behavioural, emotional and learning difficulties. Add school counsellors to the list of people you can turn to when you need help. They know how to listen and can help young people with life's challenges. All Wairarapa Colleges have counsellors. Some primary schools have social workers.
Skylight is excited to welcome, Liz Dixon as our new counsellor in the Wairarapa. Liz works in several locations across the Wairarapa. Liz works with children, teenagers and adults. Liz counsels and supports people with a variety of issues including grief, loss, trauma, depression, anxiety and workplace issues. Liz creates a safe environment that helps her clients to explore and clarify their issues, gain greater self-awareness, get in touch and release emotions and achieve personal growth.
